Question : Is this a yearly, monthly or weekly subscription?
Answer: Monthly!
Question : But i don't like recurring payments...
Answer: Subscribe then cancel. You'll have one month of access. If you change your mind, you can always return, your username and password will be saved.
Question : I lost my password or i modified it and something went wrong, How can i retreive it?
Answer: Send me a e-mail kern@drowtales.com including your paypal email adress, i will send your information within 48 hours.
Question : I remember the Daydream prices were lower before. Have they increased?
Answer: Yes. Unfortunatly the USD currency value has lowered a lot since 2003. To compensate the extreme loss of USD value, we've increased the daydream subscription price of 20%. Exemple: Dreamer 5$ account went up to 6$. We are sorry about the inconvenience. This does not affect the canadian currency subscriptions.
Question : My account doesn't work! I think i was deleted by error.
Answer: This is a common problem if you did an account upgrade or if you failed your payment once. Send me a e-mail kern@drowtales.com including your paypal email adress, your login and you password. If possible, tell me the lastest the date of your lastest payment, this may speed up my research. I will tr-activate your account within 48 hours.
Question : I just registrated but i got no email to tell me my password! Is daydream some sort of scam?
Answer: Unfortunatly a few free email services such hotmail love to send our server ougoing email into their "spam" folder. You might want to look there. But if you haven't received the email at all: The default password for new accounts is always 'dreamer', MAKE SURE TO CHANGE IT AFTER YOUR FIRST LOG-ON! The default username is your paypal email adress.
Question : What is the purpose and policy for the use of the members-only shoutboxs.
Answer: The shoutboxs are meant for commenting on the pages/animation/story and other contents of the members-only section. It also permit the members to communicate their ideas with each other and be able to post their characters actions. Spamming the shoutbox, distorting the web site on purpose, flaming, insults, dispute between members, artists and administrator is strictly forbidden. Frequent misuse of the shoutbox and clearly defamatory messages may lead to a cancelation of your subscription. As others members pay for a fun and frendly environement.
Question : I'm running on linux and your site don't let me login!
Answer: We do not have a linux machine, so i cannot test the site using those OS. I recommand that you try the OPERA browser. This one is available for all OS and should work.
Question : I wish to unsubscribe, where the button for that?
Answer: The button is not on the web site. If you wish to unsubscribe, go to your Paypal account, select your subscription item in your paypal history. Click detail and then click cancel subscription. Another way is to go to your last payment, click detail, then the reference number. Then click cancel subscription. or just contact Kern
Question : I wish to file a complaint about one of your service, how do i do that and do i have the right to a refund?
Answer: You can do so by contacting the administrator of the concerned section or Kern via email. Agressive public complaints will not help to make you point pass but brand you as flamer or troll. Be polite and direct. You will get an answer if you do so. As for refund, it is dealt case by case. If you subscribed recently or if your complaint is valid, the chance to get a refund is much higher.
Question : Why should i pay for daydream and/or chibi manga?
Answer: Drowtales is a free web site and we cannot work for free, using pirated internet line, living in box in the streets and eat trash. This section is meant to fund Drowtales. So you get extra naughty stuff/interactive/funny stuff and we get our funding for our various projects, artists and in order to permit me to work full time on the web site. Thank you.
