I’ve started working on the extra pages needed for our japan travel of next week. 3 pages in the normal style and that would’ve been included in the story anyways. Just of a different character whose actions could be fit in those 3 pages. Beside these, i’ve started on samuraicowboy’s commission

Which once its complete will end my commission work until i return from japan on the 18th.
Also kite finished her persona style commission:

Its just lacking the right text at the moment.

the commission character reminds me of Al’tesh in a Call of Cthulhu setting (yeah, that’s all Al’tesh needs, having to roll for sanity checks) ^^ and yay Kite’s P5 character sheet looks awesome, ready to use! ^^/

oh boy! ^^ I’m sure you’ve heard, but taxicabs power-open their own doors for you (and they’re fielding brand new cabs for the upcoming Olympics too, they’re bigger to accommodate taller foreigners), and there’s no tipping in Japan (even the bellhops in the hotel, they consider that part of hospitality, or “omotenashi”). oh, and they drive on the left hand side over there, so when crossing a street, look in the reverse order you do over here (right, left, right). also, you might want to invest in an umbrella after you arrive, as it can rain often (and they’re so cheap, some folks just discard them after use, and buy a new one when they need it). finally, if you haven’t already, you might want to take a look at NHK World for English language news and informative shows: https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/live/ have a great time, you guys, on your well-deserved vacation! \^^/

note: don’t go to Hokkaido, they just got hit with a magnitude 6.6 quake that’s paralyzed the prefecture. casualties seem light so far (about 10 dead, 32 missing), but massive landslides and flooding have been triggered. all rail service stopped, many roads are impassable, most buildings have no power or fresh water, and Sapporo’s New Chitose airport is closed. it’s gonna take a long time before things are back to normal. thankfully, I don’t hear of any impact on the rest of Japan
