For gem76’s birthday. I hope your health recover soon.
Now there’s a topic i saw coming up during the last few years. Some do not like it when someone ship their personal character with a main character from a story. It doesn’t matter what story, be ours or some other comic/book/etc. I understand the reasoning , and it’s a natural one to have. However i’d like to bring the counter argument;
People on the internet often like to define themselves through what they dislike. “You like this? Well i hate it”. In this case the “it” is a character. I beleive we’d all get along better without those negative differences , instead try to think from the positive perspective ; what we like. In this case Gem likes Faen, and there’s nothing wrong with this. We all like things, else we wouldn’t read any story, watch any movies, play any games. Alright , we’d play pong and those were single pixel. But they were GORGEOUS pixels! That he like Faen and would like his character to be partnered with her, may it go against the canon , is fine. I encourage people to like and ship characters. With any other. It’s the internet, lets have fun! Sure we may wince at some pairing, it’s our right to use those eyeballs to express mental dismay. As long as it isn’t against the other person’s enjoyment of his or her ship. Gem understand this and i hope others will.
This doesn’t have to of romantic interest specificaly. It can be as simple as say making a family member to a main character ; this too is a proof of liking a character, wanting your own character to be part of their lives.
Also, gem76 is one of my patron. Not ‘patreon’ , but patron, in the most tradional sense. Him, Khora and Lordpanther are there every month to support what we do financialy and through their generosity we can have a more stable work situation. They’re important. So thank you , the three of you.
And please, i hope this is not taken as casting a shadow on anyone else. There’s plenty other people who contribute who are very much important. I’m just putting the spotlight on the big art patrons right now.
