Drowkaki was finally upgraded to Poteto 5.1 then to Wax Poteto. A much needed upgrade after so many years without change and with all these bugs plaguing us. We had to trash our custom MODS but it seem that wax poteto include some of the stuff we had. Avatar(go in your profile) and picture uploading. It also come with some new features as well. The most important one is to be able to re-touch everything, including SHI-PAINTER pictures , non animated oekaki and uploaded stuff. I'm sorry we didn't do this upgrade sooner. Now the board is pretty much lifeless, but i hope now that approving new accountsl became optional, that some life will return around here on this fantasy-only oekaki board.

Okay! Done! And yes I coped out on the bavkground. >.<

I know it's late, Halloween being all ready over, but I had to do a traditional chibi Halloween pic that had Zelgadis in it!

Zel ended up in a Klonao suit rather then the bunny suit like I originaly planned.

And sorry Almal that it's not Xellos... but you all ready got him as Jack Sparrow in the very first Hallowenn chibi pic I did. ;P

Tama looks SO unimpressed about being in a Mog from FFVI suit. ^^;
Kasa is in the Prinny from Desgaia suit.... he always looks so unsure of these situations. ^^;

Tama: Okay, who let Satan on crack loose?
Kasa: I think it came with his suit.
Zel: ...........

Okay, inside joke. If you recal this pic
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26840916/
Then you know who Satan and Shire is and should get the joke.

You have the talent to do very good paintings involving light, and subtle lighting effects, if you wanted to; do you like dutch master's paintings? You would like the way they depicted lighting. Hee hee, reminmds me of my cat, giving me a dead bluejay, cause he likes me for feeding him. "Oh, master, please eat this." Good sense of humour, I value that. The thing about line art and art that is more dependent on "volume" is that if you use great volume, lots of mass, shading,,you do not need so much line. And,if you have great line art,you do not need so much shading, dark colors, and lots of paint. With good line art,you can just "tint" or "detail" parts, to indicate color; the line art,and it'ss tyle, stand mostly on it's own. I think that is the secret of some of our great line-art artists, and their style, on this site(and others)_.

"That blue stuff" does look like water. I think the girl's pretty even without the face, and the wolf ish love. <3 I'm faintly reminded of The Last Avatar. XD

dorothyblueeyes @ Thursday, October 5th 2006, 6:09 AM
Yes, that wolf is awesome. wow. Nice picture. all around.

The female leads for my new webcomic idea, \"Chamber\". Amaya is a drow, however, she has gone to the \'Earth Realm\', and thusly dyes her hair and wears color contacts to make herself less conspicuous.
Trance is a demi-wyvern. Which I am not going to explain about here. And Nissa is the little blue fairy!

ehhg. I haven't drawn here in a while. This is a horrible drawing.

But, I was in a bit of a hurry. Im very, very tired. I have to ask something though. And I thought Drow has so, so many talented artists, that I should ask here.

I'm having big problems with male anatomy. I've looked up tutorials, I've bought books. I've bought 'How To Draw Manga 'Male Characters' but nothing is helping me I dont feel.

I've even tried watching oekaki animations, to see if it'd help me. But most people who /are/ good with the male anatomy and have it down, don't need to start with a basic skeleton structure because they already know what theya re doing, so It doesn't help me that way.

I was wondering if someone, if they have the time, could help me by doing a little tutorial thing for me. I'd appreciate it ALOT. Mary's breast tutorial, helped me /alot/ so I figure it's worth asking again when I need help.

If someone does this for me, Ill be like, so dead grateful .x_x; Looove I will. For ever. If not I understand. :3 But it'd be appreciate it. I need help mucho much. As you can proably tell from this drawing some what.xD I disguised the body so you cann see how horrible it is.

THANK YOU. <3

Ikena @ Monday, June 5th 2006, 6:55 PM
Ah! very pretty drawing!
i love the colors you used..
About the male anatomy thinguie, Im still kinda working at it.. so far im kinda getting better with the torso, but waist and legs, are still a prob for me.. >__<

Arisu @ Monday, June 5th 2006, 10:44 PM
eehee I -love- solid art like this. Great face. Nice job!

Theron @ Wednesday, June 7th 2006, 2:34 PM
Ah that's a shwanky purple!
I'll do a tutorial for you ^_^ I dunno how much it will help but I'll give it a whirl!

Little Elf @ Sunday, June 11th 2006, 6:27 PM
Wait...it's a guy...Aw crap! *runs away blushing* I don't mean to sound rude btw. XD I like to brag about my ability to tell androgenous males apart and I was just PWND. Okay anyways, he's very pretty! I think his hiar made me think girl. Ah...*is still embarassed* That's a really lovely purple, and just how you colored only hsi face is a nice touch. It adds...something that I can't quite explain. (and no that's not a bad thing) I can almost imagine his body with that purple...is that strange? I love your picture, it's so simple and elegant, even if you doubt your talent with male anatomy. =3

tori_yuugi @ Tuesday, June 13th 2006, 1:14 PM
hey this is nice! i like the sunglasses and the feather dont worry drawing guys seem to be ahrder than drwing girls strange

Jennifer, The Blue Narian @ Thursday, June 22nd 2006, 6:13 AM
This has a very nice styalised graphic feel to it. I like the contrast between the shaded and detailed face and the flat body. The lips are especialy nice.

dorothyblueeyes @ Thursday, October 5th 2006, 5:55 AM
Very nice, I like the coloring too. Men are usually heavier and broader in the uipper part of their body;they are much narrower lower down. So,a good beginning rule in drawing men,is to look at their shoulders, and pectorals, and figure just how broad they are. It is one of the main differnces between men and women;women';s center of gravity is in their hips, bottom; men[s center of gravity is in the shoulders and chest. Women even like activities where they sit down.Men do not like that, they prefer standing, and doing action activities, cause they do not like long periods of time, sitting in a chair. This will give you some hints, as to how you draw them, in what activities.

The angel from 16017.
He really needs a name...

Jennifer, The Blue Narian @ Thursday, June 8th 2006, 5:28 PM
Wonderful job. Angel he may be but that expression gives me a slightly chilled feeling. Like he either knows something I don't or is about to do something that will shock me badly.

Not to sure what the feather thing infront of him is though.

Now names... humm...Jasper? Micheal (I know, overused)? Johnathan? Remmy? Matthew? Hope one of those helps.

Little Elf @ Sunday, June 11th 2006, 6:20 PM
I especially love the way you color. Such beautiful solids. Creepy little angel he is, but looks cute too! =3

Sumi @ Tuesday, June 13th 2006, 1:35 AM
Goodness knows, I always look forward to Arisu arts. x3 I can't get enough of your solids.I really love the muted colours. (my fave <3) His face also has a nice vibe. He's an angel, but is that a smirk? >=D Anyways, I've always liked the name Aaron.

tori_yuugi @ Tuesday, June 13th 2006, 1:12 PM
i loooooooooooooooooooooooooove the wings and thehair nice solids

Arisu @ Wednesday, June 21st 2006, 12:54 PM

dorothyblueeyes @ Thursday, October 5th 2006, 5:48 AM

Eee. I love her hair, and her clothing. This is a nice pose too! I love this. <3

Humm. reminds me of the homicidal and sadistic elf from the web comic Under Power for some reason. ^^;

dorothyblueeyes @ Thursday, October 5th 2006, 5:37 AM
Yes,very cute good. I know, i sometimes spend hours on something, and it is suddenly about 5 0'clock in the morning, and it stil is not done. Are we all frustrated oil painting artists, haha? Some of you might consider oil painting, in real life, cause you can keep coming back, and retouching the work.
