Drowkaki was finally upgraded to Poteto 5.1 then to Wax Poteto. A much needed upgrade after so many years without change and with all these bugs plaguing us. We had to trash our custom MODS but it seem that wax poteto include some of the stuff we had. Avatar(go in your profile) and picture uploading. It also come with some new features as well. The most important one is to be able to re-touch everything, including SHI-PAINTER pictures , non animated oekaki and uploaded stuff. I'm sorry we didn't do this upgrade sooner. Now the board is pretty much lifeless, but i hope now that approving new accountsl became optional, that some life will return around here on this fantasy-only oekaki board.

*gasp* I'm alive!

...Maybe you're wondering how this could fit in fantasy or sci-fi, but try to actually have a hairstyle like that (unless your hair stylist can really do those crazy Star Wars hairstyles) and you'll understand why I think this can't be anything but fantasy. =_=;

Basically just a stress relief drawing, I wasn't really sure what I was drawing but it came out not too shabbyyy. Oh and of course I didn't take that long to do it... I worked on it on and off for like 3 days... but mostly off, I kept doing other things and kicking myself in the butt to finish this. x_x

Anyway I'm just glad to see this site is still up and running, I should drop by more often maybe. >_>;

This is beautiful! Fantasy isn't just a subject, it can also be an atmosphere, and this definitely gives the feeling of fantasy. I love the design on this. Beautiful greens!

tori_yuugi @ Thursday, April 27th 2006, 5:46 PM

Thalar @ Friday, April 28th 2006, 5:46 AM
That is simply beautiful :) You have a great way with colors, and I really liked how you did the background too.

mazilwolf @ Friday, April 28th 2006, 3:30 PM

>.< dude... how'd ya DO that.....

Sumi @ Sunday, April 30th 2006, 1:49 PM
Indeed you should! >=3 Your lineart is just amazing here, with the smooth bolder streaks in her hair to the thinner ones of the petals. I think it was the colouring that caught my eye though. The extreme contrast in values in her hair adds a lot of depth to it. And I just realized that the bg was all coloured tones. XD Now I'm in love with it.

Lady GH @ Tuesday, May 2nd 2006, 11:10 PM
Really nice pic. I like your use of contrasting colors, though the green really caught my attention. The bg is really nice, the use of tones really adds visual texture. Guess I could keep rambling ... so I'll stop there.

Chime @ Thursday, May 25th 2006, 10:02 PM
That background is so awesome. It looks so breezy too, with those leaves floating around X3

GREEN is the best color. ANd that jewelery is great too,

Jennifer, The Blue Narian @ Friday, May 26th 2006, 6:06 PM
Wonderfully intense colors. This practicly glows as if she's casting a spell or something. So no worries. It's fantasy enough. ;P

Emperial @ Saturday, June 17th 2006, 4:17 AM
Perfect magical shininess! Superb usage of tones. ^^ I just love how it's so clean and there's different line thickness... it's kind of like stained glass. Beautiful work!

My goodness, how gorgeous! Everything about this just blows me away! Amazing!

I have way, waaaaay too much time on my hands. T_T Stupid rain.

Well this is my Gaia avatar character thingy. I know there are a lot of details that I didn't take the time to fix, but my brain has just shut down. >.<

Rigga Mortis @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 7:38 AM
Your Gaia avatar is cooool. Those coat cuffs...gaah. *Stares.* Just wicked. The hair is awesome-pretty, the colours especially, and really flow with the outfit well. Nice folding on jacket and pants---and I just noticed the hints of tones and texturing, awesome. :D This is so gorgeous. The clouds and rain are my favourite part, though.

LunarMnM2004 @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 8:51 AM
Love this picture! you did such a good job coloring it!

Kamourian King @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 4:17 PM

Sumi @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 4:29 PM
XD My Gaia character is still dressed in rags. I agree, very nice textures and I really like the different coloured lineart. it's not a look that I can get to look nice like this. ^_^; Cookies for you for throwing some tones? in there too.

AnimeCanuck @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 8:07 PM
Cute! I love this funky colouring style you chose - the colours complement the pic very much. Looks excellent. ^^

Ikena @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 10:42 PM
how cute! I love the pose and expression, the coloring is nice too! =3

Darkrose @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 11:55 PM
It's so pretty... the lineart with the colors looks so very... psychodelic. The colors! Mwahaha! It's so bright and contrasting with the background, it's very striking and a really awesome effe ct. I also love how you thickened the lineart in places for extra shadows and detail, that looks really good... and overall the image is clean, well composed, and thought provoking. Kudos.

Skittles-chan @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 4:00 AM
The folds in the clothing are what astounds me most =3 The effects are rather nice, too. Your style of shading is pretty unique and cool, and the the character is really neat as well.

Ghislain WildCat @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 7:59 AM
A catgirl, nice colorful lines, shiny stuff, nice background... and lots of BLUE. ^w^
I feel like I'm gonna like your drawings! XD

KHatch @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 8:21 PM
I really like the solid lineart in colours other than black. The way you made everything so blendy and used like, all the tools available (watercolour, solid, tones) is just great. The rockybricky wall is my favourite part of all. That and the fuzzy parts =P

relzilla @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 11:31 PM
Aww, the character looks so sad.. ;; *Hug.*
I agree that you did really well on the textures here. ^^ I also like how the bright colors on the character contrast with the gloomy background. (That you also did very well on. o_o *Pets clouds.* :D *Gets dreanched.* Arrg!)

oni shi @ Sunday, January 2nd 2005, 12:59 AM
