Drowkaki was finally upgraded to Poteto 5.1 then to Wax Poteto. A much needed upgrade after so many years without change and with all these bugs plaguing us. We had to trash our custom MODS but it seem that wax poteto include some of the stuff we had. Avatar(go in your profile) and picture uploading. It also come with some new features as well. The most important one is to be able to re-touch everything, including SHI-PAINTER pictures , non animated oekaki and uploaded stuff. I'm sorry we didn't do this upgrade sooner. Now the board is pretty much lifeless, but i hope now that approving new accountsl became optional, that some life will return around here on this fantasy-only oekaki board.

"Waya...what are you saying" Kain asked nervously his voice shaking slighting as he watched her turn her back on him and start walking away back towards Eidolon. "I don't love you Kain, I never did, I was just playing with you." Waya had only turned away from him so he could not see that her eyes gave away the lies she was saying or the tears that were falling as she kept walking away from him "Spirits can not love Demons. You will no longer be allowed inside Eidolon unless you are an invited guest which will never happen, so leave these lands Kain, go and find your fate and do not pester me any longer."
He was dumbfounded, all those years they had been together since he had first come here, and now they were gone, crushed, a fake. He could not understand.

My character Waya Achak and my friends character Kain from my RP guild on gaia (Spirits & Demons look it up) We're in the midsts of roleplaying Kain and Waya's back story so that the storyline we are in now can be brought into better perspective. Waya Achak is now the Leader of Eidolon and Kain left after this to go to she Shadow Halls hoping that he'd need her help and she'd come back but instead he got kind of possessed and she never came to help him and now he's the Shadow Master of the demon lands (their leader) so this is her breaking up with him :D which we haven't even gotten to in the RP XD

Anna Sophia @ Sunday, June 22nd 2008, 9:29 PM
My favorite part of this picture - and what keeps bringing me back to look at it - is the shading on the lips! That is stunning work! It's a shame the eyes aren't done the same way, or the hair... They seem a bit rushed... -pout-

My character Akia Hitogoroshi. She's a soul eater

Neko Girl Star @ Thursday, November 29th 2007, 11:42 AM
<<...my soul is not for eating! lol nice pic ^^

KHatch @ Tuesday, January 15th 2008, 1:47 AM
Crazy. I like the mouth and nose area. And how the yellow eye is watercoloury and the rest is more solids.

Prismatic @ Tuesday, January 22nd 2008, 4:21 PM
I like the sadistic smile. I can imagine a lot of amusing things for a soul eater to do. I really like the shading on the mask, and the red glow effect. I've never been good with doing solid shading myself.

Annie Felis @ Thursday, January 31st 2008, 1:57 PM
She looks like such a bad girl~

That yellow eye is neat.

Neko Girl Star @ Friday, November 16th 2007, 4:16 AM
o.o...isn't...that concidered spamming?

I like the tones used, and the mixture of solid lines and none at all. And his eyes look cool ^^

Prismatic @ Saturday, November 17th 2007, 12:37 AM
The shading on the skin is really fantastic. I can't shade like that, but you captured the shadows and light really well. Think maybe a little more dark tones in the hair would have been a nice touch. I really like the shading on the sleeve too~ It really pops.

KHatch @ Tuesday, January 15th 2008, 1:49 AM
Awesome work with the tones! I have a hard time with that. I likes the skin much.

Annie Felis @ Thursday, January 31st 2008, 1:59 PM
I like the work with the tones, like everybody else. Tones need more love in art nowadays.

olsie @ Friday, February 25th 2005, 11:17 AM
xDD looks really funny and adorable; 'Tamp' Will look so great when finished. Thank you much in advance :)

catboi incubus mishi @ Saturday, February 26th 2005, 3:17 PM
This image brings to mind the Monty Python and the Holy Grail quote - "She turned me into a NEWT." "..." "I got better.."
Anyway, this is cute so far. I just know Olsie will love it. I am digging the solids in his hair. Contrasts real nice with the background. :D

Harlequin @ Monday, February 28th 2005, 2:55 AM
Mishi, that was my thought too! Love that movie.

So far this is looking all snazzy like, the only things I see that really bother me are the small lineart bumps and such, really just the tail and the lower jaw that are jumping to my attention. Other than that, snazzy newt. lol

mazilwolf @ Friday, March 4th 2005, 3:56 PM
tee heh, newt boi!! *pokes it*
i love to, soooo koooool!!!!!
the hair IS great, all the solids, =0
i cant do solids very well....
the background is really cool, coz the carachter(can't spell =\ ) has a shadow onto an abstract backgroud.
i'm also intriguied as to what teh cookie tasted like, yum... cookies....

catboi incubus mishi @ Sunday, January 23rd 2005, 10:40 PM
Ooh, angsty. Is the angel strapped to some sort of stool? I like the red and purple outline and the colors, very neat. :)

Starisan @ Sunday, January 23rd 2005, 10:44 PM
Wow, powerful image, great emotion and coloring to portray emotion! I had a little trouble reading the script but the color suits the over all pallete. Have you ever heard of salad fingers?

darkrose @ Sunday, January 23rd 2005, 11:40 PM
very angsty... I like it a lot. I really like the black on the wings, they're just shaded perfectly. The red outline with the bits of blue calls to mind some kind of dark, bloody fire, excellent color choice there. Good job.

Ashi @ Monday, January 24th 2005, 3:08 AM
I love how you outlined the entire image in red. It really comes through for the concept you are trying to evoke from the illustration.

KHatch @ Monday, January 24th 2005, 6:19 AM
Oh god it reminds me of Salad Fingers too...that's just not a memory I want to have! *shiver* Yet something about those makes me watch each one as it comes out...
The colour is just lovely, so dark and yet not. The blues give me an electric feeling. I love the wings!

Chime @ Monday, January 24th 2005, 2:33 PM

^___^;;; Ehehhh....

The wings are the best, I think. Nicely colored. The rest of the picture is simple, yet foreboding.

The words are very.....suggestive, ne? <_____< Creepy.

Are you okay? Or is this just a ..... normal...picture...???

Nice...If scary...

Shakaku @ Monday, January 24th 2005, 8:57 PM
I love your use of bold smooth lines and the red and blues together, but the background is not as 'thick' or 'clean' feelign as the rest of it. rather than that, it's a great picture.

darkrose @ Sunday, January 16th 2005, 12:29 AM
heh, wow. I love the talking scythe, never heard of that one before but I really like it. Way to go, very funny. Also lovely work, just simple enough to portray the message but sloppiness doesn't interfere with the humor. Perfect job.

catboi incubus mishi @ Sunday, January 16th 2005, 3:27 PM
xD What a pity. What a funny image~~

Starisan @ Sunday, January 16th 2005, 8:39 PM

Aw, this is hella cute. The wonderfully simple outlineing and shading are so well done! The robe of Death cracks me up. And the scythe is cute too.
I love this!

Errisandra @ Tuesday, January 18th 2005, 4:45 PM
Hehe. So funny and cute. Very simple, but very well done. I really like Death's hood. How come the scythe knows how he's going to die, and not Death? Mayhap the scythe is the mastermind behind it all...Hmmm...

Sumi @ Saturday, January 22nd 2005, 11:59 PM
LMAO, this is great. Just... awesome. XD Nice lighting and design for the scythe.

Chime @ Monday, January 24th 2005, 1:55 PM

This is hilarious. One of the few pictures that cranked out a giggle. ^3^ Trust me - thats good. >D
I have to say, like so many others - the simplicity of the whole piece makes it so that you can see the humor both in the picture and in the words.
I especially like the "talking" scythe. Loverly >3

Shakaku @ Monday, January 24th 2005, 9:22 PM

Kage Kitsune @ Monday, January 10th 2005, 2:36 AM
One of the Sensei's from my dojo came up to visit for promotions in on December 11, today when we were talking in AIM he told me he had sent me an e-mail, I opened said e-mail and he asked me if he could name me Shiro hana which means White blossom. Apparently it is the rarest and most beautiful blossom ever and blooms for a very long time...and Hana also happens to be my name in japanese ( hannah = hana ). I've never really like my name in japanese because it ment blossom...because I never have felt like one. But when he asked me to accept the name I was glad and sen thim an e-mail back telling him I would gladly except it as my name. This picture is for Sensei Shihan Alamo, my namer, I hope he outlives his hereditary heart condition.

KHatch @ Monday, January 10th 2005, 4:14 AM
That a neat story.
I love the little blossoms and the nice clean lineart. The colouring is simple but pretty. Cute little image!

darkrose @ Monday, January 10th 2005, 7:11 AM
wow, beautiful story and beautiful picture. It doesn't look particularly fantasy...? But the hand is well done, the flowers are lovely, and the little bits of detail are really nice.

Starisan @ Monday, January 10th 2005, 1:05 PM
Wow, this is really pretty. I love the pastelish color palette. It is very flattering to the person you're representing. The lips have an effective yet subtle shine and the shadows and highlights on the clothing are really good. OOO and I envy the hand, it is so beautiful and well done. The only thing that I might say is to give the blossums a little more detail. I suppose that's a personal preference though. Good job!

Lady_Sea @ Monday, January 10th 2005, 11:04 PM
That is such a pretty picture to go along with such a pretty name. I like the nice vibrant, but soft colors. It's very pleasing to the eye. oO Is that a Yuna braid in the back? XD. I like the font of the letters, you did nicely on that too. I pray your sensei gets better ^_^.

Kage Kitsune @ Tuesday, January 11th 2005, 2:21 AM
oh no don't worry, he's fine! I think that it's a minor problem in his mind and doesn't want in to hinder his progress in any way shape or form...which I can't see it doing in the least when I saw him last ^_^; don't worry!

catboi incubus mishi @ Saturday, January 15th 2005, 4:20 PM
I have to agree with darkrose, it's not fantasy, but that's such a sweet story. (: I love the little flowers, and how the girl caught one. :] I think the text would have been more legible if you had used either a darker or lighter shade of the purply/blue. I hope your sensei gets better!

Done!!! ^_^ and not to hurt anybodies feelings but the little one...is a girl >_>;. I would like everybody to say hello to...Amber's little sister Arsnic and her vampiric master Aubrey!! Arsnic and Aubrey are the D&D characters for me and my adoptive (not really he's just a friend of mine we adopted each other) brother! ^_^ Arsnic is Aubrey's blood slave and the conversation goes as thus

Arsnic: Beeerrrr....*drool*
Aubrey: We don't have enough money for beer...(if we did we'd BOTH be drunk by now) gods I can't wait till your older...

and that's the conversation! I don't really want to give back story on the two on them right now becuase I'm still trying to sort it out, and tweak and such...Enjoy!!

Heheh, yay finished! I really love the shading on the little one's hair, and the expressions are wonderful (the bright red looks a tad out of place, but hey) Great attention to detail in the background, too... like the little curls above the window and the cobbles on the street. 'Tis purdyful <{^ ^}>

Skittles-chan @ Thursday, December 30th 2004, 9:19 AM
The little girl ^^; is cute. I really like her hair now that it's coloured. The orange tips is nice.
I like the shading. Especially in the background, where it looks a little complex. Don't get me wrong, I really like the simplicity of the foreground as well. I still think the way the shirt is hanging off the girl's shoulder is cute ^^ And she looks way too young to be drinking. Tsk.

Aww. Even unfinished this looks cute. The eye is neat, and I really, really like the solid-coloured outlines. It makes it stand out. The puffs of the hat are soft-looking. Nicely positioned, too.

Darkrose @ Monday, December 27th 2004, 11:52 PM
Aww, he is cute. I like the perspective you used on this one, and the little present. The whole thing fits together so nicely, although the tongue hanging out is a little distracting. Or maybe it's just the lack of smile that makes it look that way.. anyway, he's immensely cute, excellent job on this one.

Skittles-chan @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 4:24 AM
He's cute ^^ The perspective is pretty good, and I like the way the lineart is just a bit darker than the colour it surrounds. It doesn't seem to have any element of fantasy, though..

Sephie Strife @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 5:00 AM
Snnnooooww!!! X3

OMG, you're so good with perspective. >> I can't draw that kind of poses correctly at all.
My favorite part of that drawing is the frame, those blue corners are just sooo neat and add such a great touch to the whole picture. X3
And the little present box looks really cute! XD Love it.

Rigga Mortis @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 5:20 AM
Yay, it's done! Aww, lookit the mouth. The white poof and eding on the hat look really soft, as they did before, and the eye turned out really shiny and pretty since I last saw it. My little suggestion would be to add a bit more depth to the shading of the shirt or hat. Nice back-ground and 'frame-work' on the egdes!

Ghislain WildCat @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 8:03 AM
Hehe! Pretty cute! It's pretty nice how some things looks so fluffy compared to the rest of the pic. And the angle's well drawn! Oh! and maybe you should've shaded a bit ddarker, especially on the skin, since it seems to be in a pretty dark place and all. ^w^;

KHatch @ Tuesday, December 28th 2004, 8:23 PM
Aw this is CUTE!!! I like the coloured lineart. I tried that the other day and it made me sick, I messed it up so badly. Kudos on that. The fluff on the end of the hat is perfect, and I like the border and the plain background. The snow settling on the hat is a nice touch. =)
