DrowKaki

Drowkaki was finally upgraded to Poteto 5.1 then to Wax Poteto. A much needed upgrade after so many years without change and with all these bugs plaguing us. We had to trash our custom MODS but it seem that wax poteto include some of the stuff we had. Avatar(go in your profile) and picture uploading. It also come with some new features as well. The most important one is to be able to re-touch everything, including SHI-PAINTER pictures , non animated oekaki and uploaded stuff. I'm sorry we didn't do this upgrade sooner. Now the board is pretty much lifeless, but i hope now that approving new accountsl became optional, that some life will return around here on this fantasy-only oekaki board.

I love Renaissance style weddings, myself. Mm, maybe you could mix the two -- wear a medieval inspired dress, and he some kind of medieval inspired garb, and then you could have the wedding in a gothic cathedral and the reception in a lovely park or country club or something? XD!

You have nice progress on this so far, but I'd lower the breasts on the bride just a smidge. I'm not sure they sit up that high?

Finally, been working on this FOREVER. Completely solids and dotted until I got to the rock, then I gave up and did lines and stuff.

Remember Argpoodle\'s always-dying trait? It seems my boyfriend has a bad habit of dying a lot. Always. No matter the character. This new campaign, opening night, Liston (boyfriend\'s new guy) decides to swim out a differrent way than us and got eaten by a shark. So Liston was a character for a whole like 3 hours. We found on the boat in the comic an unconscious guy, the character succeeding Liston LOL
Good thing my boyfriend has backups....always...and several of them, too.

Okay. My computer's motherboarad fried due to USB malfunction and a nasty spark =(
But anyway, this is a Jagonrundi, a vermin-type native to a different planet, and a Meercoon, a raccoon-meerkat hybrid that was genetically created to be the new ferret (in this short story, ferrets and other species were wiped out by a combination of war and disease). Space travellers brought Meercoons with them to this new planet and the Jagonrundi stowed away like winged tarantulas on freight ships.
It was a fun story, I should redo it now that I'm not a little kid =P

Argpoodle and 'Rena have a jolly little dance in the very same outfits that my boyfriend and I will be sporting at the Renaissance Festival this weekend in the Plantersville, TX area.
Yes, even the hat. I made the Argpoodle hat, and he will be wearing it.

And 'Rena is wearing her hat of disguise, making her appear as a white elf, which is easier on me since I couldn't find decent grease paint to be a drow at the faire. Yay for disguise!

The boy's hat is really cute, with the lil dangley thing and weird shape and all, and I like the lil designs on his pants =3 Rena's outfit is nice too, sort of gypsy-esque without the colour. A few things stick out as awkard to me. Rena's hand the one with the bracelet) seems just a little shapeless. Also, her arm and the gesture seem a little awkward, especially for them to be dancing. Maybe if he were holding onto her finger or something like that? Anyway, her head also seems disproportionately large. Other than that, everything's great. The details (especially on the boy's hat =3) are great, and I like the shading. The stars are really pretty too =3

I like the texture on the guy's pants, it looks pretty neat. And I like the sleeves on his shirt too, with the details arond them.

I like the girl's hair, and the folds in her dress look good.

Your coloring is really nice too.
I love the clothing designs and color choice for the designs.
The backround is also very nice, I love the trees in the backrond and how the grass gets dark the farther back. It is detail like that that draws me in. I also love the detail paid to the stars. No one star is the same =3

Nik is the name he's going by this week, at least.
Zyra is my drow 'Rena all hat-of-disguised and whatnot, being human at The Black Rat since she's been banned from the city. Nik is some strange young man who bought her one Moondrop too many (about 10 too many, actually...) and currently has her alone in a room, knowing she's drow and knowing that there's a bounty on her head.
Too bad I'm too drunk to do ANYTHING...
She's sloppily saying to him, "I'mma poke ya in da eye..."
This game is turning out quite fun.

EDIT: It's as done as I can get it without getting all OCD over details. =)

Love the colors used. Very warm and her hair, WOW, you can't miss that from a mile away. Love the detailed background. i envy your "sKiLz!1!" the textures you used is like, the best. I love the corset the best. Has that suave leather feeling to it. the lips are very well done. i envy your lips as well. though while everything about this picture "rox" I don't like his hands. They seem too short and dollish meaning they can't bend...you know what I mean? other than that everything is great. Skin tones, textures, backround, etc. You are quite the impressive artist neh?

So, in my game, Lai'Rena came back from a 2 month ingame journey, and decided that she was sick of plain silvery hair...and did this number. Cost me like 2 gold to do it, haha.

Oh you colored it in! It looks really good. I liked it when it was a sketch with just the brilliant eyes as well. I like the softness to the coloring and the fantasticlly bright colors in contrast to the dark background. Neato feathers growing on his arms.~

the body [shoulders] seem abit out of proportion with the head, and the forehead is abit too small - my best advice on faces comes directly from my portrait drawing teacher - the eyes are in the middle of the head, from the top of the skull [at highest point] to the bottom of the chin. your lines are very crisp and clean, and your skin tone is well done!

The style is not much like your regular one, and the profile is almost Disney's Hercules-esque. I've had moments like that... my fighter, JT, only had enough gold for one room in the inn, so he bought the room for the lady they were protecting and decided to sleep outside. Now they've been having trouble with guards and wild animals like bears and wolves, so he thinks he'll sleep in a tree. He makes sure he has rope, so he can secure himself up there and make a little hammoc or something. Great plan, right? So he makes his climb, fails the first rope check, then a second rope check, and then two reflex saves (one made, one failed). What happened was as follows:

Jt climbed the tree and pulled out the rope. He managed to tie his hands together and get a little tangled before the rope coiled around the hilt of his sword and pulled it out of the sheath dangling it about five feet below him still attatched to the rope. JT leaned over to pull up the sword, lost his balance, over-corrected, and fell off the other side. The sword (yup, still on the rope) headed up towards JT as he fell, rather like a pulley system, but he managed to dodge it before he fell hard on his back on the ground. As he lay there in pain, rather winded, he failed to notice the sword coming back down after rounding the branch. It impaled him to the ground, securing him in place.

So the party finds JT bleeding to death, tied in rope, impaled by his own sword to the ground and completely unable to move. He did this completely on his own. THey have never stopped mocking him for that.

So! Great picture, I wish to see more when it is more done-like. I will actually comment on the image when that happens... I just thought you'd be amused by the story. <{^.^}>;;

He's not a bright person, and so Honey is highly neglected. See her little hind foot sticking out? Her leg's broken from being hit by a car, and she never received medical attention =(

I know! I know! The owl is his familiar, right? Anyway, this is the most beautiful of your comics thus far. The background is just perfect, simply beautiful. I went back and read your description of what was going on, but even before that you could really tell. Wonderful job on expressing the story just through their expressions and poses. In that first pannel she's got her shoulders down and is sitting on her leg, which shows her boredom, yet her back is straight showing the formality of the 'job' (the I'm-here-beacuse-I-have-to-be look). She looks so ver longing in that second frame, you can tell exactly what she's thinking! Oh, so wonderfully told, so wonderfully shown. Another absolutely fantastic job!
