DrowKaki

Drowkaki was finally upgraded to Poteto 5.1 then to Wax Poteto. A much needed upgrade after so many years without change and with all these bugs plaguing us. We had to trash our custom MODS but it seem that wax poteto include some of the stuff we had. Avatar(go in your profile) and picture uploading. It also come with some new features as well. The most important one is to be able to re-touch everything, including SHI-PAINTER pictures , non animated oekaki and uploaded stuff. I'm sorry we didn't do this upgrade sooner. Now the board is pretty much lifeless, but i hope now that approving new accountsl became optional, that some life will return around here on this fantasy-only oekaki board.

Can you believe that I've never noticed the 2009 Manga contest until a few days ago. Sad. I know. It is impossible for me to enter now, but I would still like to draw a story REGARDLESS!!!! I'm not that skilled at making the stories but I can draw them.

got new bamboo pen pad,and it's made all the difference in my artwork; now I can do practically anyting; no more touch pad to draw with; this bamboo is fabulous,I'm a better artist.

I have to apologize for putting political stuff on a elf website; really,I'm sorry; I should have used another site.I get it off as soon as I can,but yeah,it was a real work of love; lots of us Americans want to join the Tea Party Protests,which are protesting the govt. spending trillions of bucks,and taxing us to death for it; rewarding the banks,and wall st. for failing,and mortgage companies; while many of us go without jobs,struggle for food,housing,and businesses are all failing in my state of Oregon, USA.It's not a recession it;'s a major Depression here.People are so mad,they do not want to be a trillion MORE IN DEBT,cause of Obama's health care reform bill. We do not have the money for Medicare,and it's broke; none of the doctors will take it, I cannot get medical treatment on it.and Obama wants to COPY MEDICARE,and force everyone in the US to have insurance,or they get fined a lot of money.You are FORCED to take insurance,cause all the young people will have to pay for the whole health bill, this way,and not get anything out ot it themselves.

We would be FORCED to have insurance,even if we cannot afford it.It would be the same as Medicare,no doctors will accept it for treatment,cause it will go broke pretty soon,and then we have a trillion dollar catastrophe,which we cannot get out of.

This country is already so broke,that other foriegn countries OWN US.Weno longer own our own country; China,India, Asia has huge loans on us,so they own us.We cannot pay them back.We cannot afford a ytrillion more bucks of debt,on the deficit.

God. It's horrible here; everyone is afraid the whole govt. and country is falling apart, literally. But thanks for still being here, I really appreciate it. You guys are some of the best artists on the web. all my love,and admiration, dorotjhyblueeyes :)

:/ was trying to reproduce a sketch i did at work. But....it didnt turn out anything at all the same X3 I used a picture of a tropical fish for the colors. :/ green and blue are just overused for mermaids.

Now that I come back to look at it,I really like it.it's so psychedelic; I had an old mandela poster,probably from the 70's or 60's,it got lost or stolen when I moved,I had that thing for almost 25 years,hanging on my wall,I got so mad,and freaked out; I was so used to it,like a companion that had been thru thick and thin with me,and then it's either lost or stolen.shit.Felt like I lost my hand.

This picture has a nice surreal feel to it. I love that moon.

Tho' the only thing really bothering me about this picture is the facial profile. I used to have alot of trouble with drawing a side view of people too, and even now find it one of the more difficult things to work on. The one thing I think that would make the profile look a little better is add more curve and prominence. Give the forehead some curve, make the nose protrude a little further out, things like that.

That being said, I love her sense of style, its just too cute.

I agree what others said about the profile: her face is too flat, and her neck also doesn't curve right beneath her chin. You could always try looking at a photo of somebody in profile to make sure you're getting things right.
